For me, content creation has been an exciting journey of learning and growth. After almost a year of sharing content, I’ve gathered some valuable lessons that might help you kickstart your content creation journey in 2025!
Creating content consistently has been a journey of trial, error, and growth. Here are some lessons I’ve learned along the way:
It’s okay if your videos get fewer views sometimes. Focus on creating consistently and enjoying the process. However, don’t forget to explore new ideas and evaluate your results to understand what resonates with your audience.
If other creators get more views or engagement, it might just be their moment. Focus on your journey and what you can control. Comparing yourself unnecessarily can distract you from your goals.
Posting 5–10 videos might not be enough to make people interested in following your account. Keep sharing content that aligns with your niche. Over time, your audience will recognize the unique value you bring and start engaging more.
Share what you truly love and know. For me, that’s design, art, music, and scrapbook. I also enjoy creating aesthetically pleasing videos, complete with stylish thumbnails (you’ve noticed those, right? 😄). No need to copy or force yourself to adopt other creators’ styles—stay original! That’s how you define your niche.
Instead of worrying about "what content should I share?" focus on writing down your lessons learned or interesting things you’ve discovered. This mindset makes the process less overwhelming.
